Whats Your Recommendation For A Patient With Pulmonary Fibrosis? Treatment

Please provide some more information
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in HCM
I am sorry for your situation and I can do your concern.
First what kind of pulmonary fibrosis you are asking for??Because if you have post inflammatory pulmonary fibrosis is one thing and if you have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is another one.
The first is not such a serious one meanwhile the second is a chronic serious lung disease. Both have different treatments follow up and expectations
Please provide me some more information as above and especially if you have already done a chest CT and a Spirometry test a Dlco test and an arterial blood gases test which are the most important lab tests and examinations in evaluating lung function of yours related to pulmonary fibrosis.Attach them to me and I will try to help you more specifically about your concern
Hope to have been helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi again
According to your prescription I don't think this is a problem. It is a localised pulmonary fibrosis which probably has not compromise lung function. However before starting chemotherapy discuss with her doctor to do arterial blood gases and a Spirometry test.If they are normal than no worries she can continue the other treatment. And her follow up for the lungs will be with chest X ray every year.
