When Can I Safely Take 10mg Valium I Have Been Drinking Heavily For 2 Days?
Question: I have been drinking heavily for 2 days. When can I safely take 10mg Valium, after how many hours of stopping alcohol?

Hello,
First of all I like to inform you that it is neither safe nor recommended to combine medications with alcohol. This is because both valium and alcohol act as central nervous system depressant and can cause respiratory depression.
Secondly our body able to metabolise only 10-15 gram of alcohol per hour so depending on the intake it is safe to use valium after 12-24 hours. In case you are not aware about the amount of alcohol ingestion I feel you can use half tablet of valium on feeling anxious (It means effect of alcohol is over or near end).
