Brief Answer:
Revision surgery can be done at any point

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

There is no window period during which the revision surgery need to be done. You can get it done at any point. However, if you can get it done earlier, then the problems associated with vision issues can be avoided soon.

Moreover, visual problems following cataract surgery may not always need a revision surgery itself. It can be treated by other procedures like Laser therapy (LASIK) or even by using eye glasses alone.

You do not have to worry at this point and follow up with the appointment at UCLA as scheduled.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.
