When Does Bleeding Start After Taking Misoprostol For Termination Of Pregnancy?

Needs to be taken under supervision of doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Normally Ru486(mifepristone) is given in combination with misoprostol for medical termination of pregnancy.
-after taking first pill containing mifepristone, the next two tablets containing misoprostol should be taken after 24 hours generally.
-by this bleeding will start usually in 12 hours after the course and pregnancy will terminate.
This drug is to be taken under Medical Supervision as it can cause serious effects as nausea, vomitting, fever, pain and sometimes incomplete abortion can also occur causing the remnants to remain.
Mifepristone is recommended drug of choice for abortion under 7 weeks so please check if your wife is less than 7 weeks pregnant.
You now give her rest of the two tablets today night and wait for next 3-4 days for the bleeding to start.
Also after taking these drugs a thorough evaluation and USG scan is recommended to check for complete evacuation of products.
Please consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation and then take it under her supervision.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

It will start in next few days.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Since you have not given the medicine as per the proper schedule you need to wait for at lest next 4-5 days for the bleeding to start and the abortion process to be complete.
The flesh thing that has come out is suggestive of beginning of the abortion process. The bleeding will soon follow.
Hope my answer is helpful.
