When Does Ovulation Occur After Taking Clomid?
i have been ttc for quite a few months now. i am 29 and husband 33. doc gave me clomid (ccq 50) 3-7 of the cycle and susten 200 16-25 of the cycle. today is 15 th day of cycle yet no positive opk. i do ovulate on my own, 11 th day + opk without medication. will i ovulate this month on clomid? how long should i wait for ovulation? can i start susten from tomorrow even if i haven't ovulated yet? what should i do? this is my 3rd cycle on clomid? what should i do if this round fails?
If ovulation fails, dose should be stepped up.

Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Firstly, if you have documented ovulation at regular intervals without induction, you have very good chance of conception. Ovulation induction in such cases is used to enhance ovulation. Ovulation occurs around 5 to 7 days after completion of the course. Sometimes, it can also take ten days.
If correctly taken, basal body temperature is the best way to detect ovulation and conception. Follicular study is another way to establish ovulation. Ovulation tests do not detect actual ovulation ; they only detect the pre-ovulatory LH surge.
You can wait for a couple more days for ovulation to occur. You did not mention if you responded well in the previous two cycles. If not, your dosage may need to be stepped up.
You can still go ahead with Susten as it helps in preparation of the endometrium and also helps to overcome any possible luteal phase defect.
A total of six cycles is given. Along with Clomiphene, injections of hCG also can be given to aid ovulation.
Please maintain proper nutrition and get adequate rest. Please follow your doctor's instructions.
Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

You are already receiving one of the methods.

Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
You are receiving one of the methods of treatment already. Please note that one year of sincere attempt to conceive is needed at your age to go for assisted reproduction.
There are several ways of assisted reproduction starting from ovulatory induction, IUI to one of the several IVF methods available today.
Please remember that stress can have negative impact on ovulation and in fact, the outcome of any treatment given. So, proceed with a positive attitude. You are still young.
Hope this helps. Please get back if you need any more clarification.

Appears to be positive.

Hello,
Thanks for writing again.
If the test is of the same color or brighter in shade than the control, the test is considered to be positive. Though there is not much clarity in the uploaded report, from as much I can see, it looks like a positive test.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good health.
