When Is Risperdol Prescribed?
Not for seizures
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I am sorry about the frustration you are feeling.
Risperdal is not used to prevent seizures, if anything it can predispose (very little) to having seizures. Lamotrigine (Lamitol) on the other hand is useful both in preventing seizures as well as in stabilizing mood.
It is an antipsychotic. Usually these drugs are used to treat psychotic events in disorders like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. However they are commonly used in other situations to control patients who have excessive irritation and aggressive behavior. I believe that to be the reason for use in your case. At times it is used as an adjunctive therapy for obsessive compulsive disorder, but only as an addition if first choice therapy (usually antidepressants) is not enough.
So if you feel that you are better now whether to continue Risperdal or not might be reconsidered, but it should be first discussed with your guardian and doctor. Not because a judge has said so, but because it is a delicate issue and an experienced external observer may have observed symptoms which you don't realize.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.
SSRI for OCD
Detailed Answer:
I think you refer to an answer given by another colleague. There are many doctors on this site and if you make a new query someone else might answer it like in this case. Since your new query was about Risperdal I concentrated on that issue. I am sure you can find on the website interface an option to view past queries, ask the site staff for help if you can't locate it.
Anyway as I mentioned in my first answer antidepressants (like SSRI class which my colleague mentioned) are a first choice in OCD when behavioral therapy is not enough.
However you must realize that their effect takes place over several weeks. Also it rarely achieves complete remission of OC symptoms, but it does reduce them.
Of course they are prescription drugs so must be discussed and prescribed by your psychiatrist.
I hope to have been of help.

Detailed Answer:
There are some foods which are supposed to have an aphrodisiac effect such as: asparagus, avocados, hot chilies, chocolate, oysters, walnuts, salmon etc.
In terms of treatment there is no drug approved for that purpose. Furthermore SSRI have as a side effect loss of libido, so it can have negative effect on your sex drive. An alternative if that is important to you, is the use of SNRI which has similar efficacy to SSRI for OCD, while by increasing also norepinephrine levels can increase sex drive as well. It is usually considered a side effect, but in this case might be beneficial.
