Brief Answer:
typically 10 to 18

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Typically ovulation (release of the 'egg') occurs anytime day 10 to 18 of the period (best to include an extra day). During this ovulation period , pregnancy is most likely to occur.

The counting starts from the onset of the period.

This time frame can vary somewhat from one person to the next and it is best not to rely only on this method of contraception.

There are other forms such as daily oral contraceptive, depoprovera injections, hormonal patch or implant, intrauterine devices.
One of these would provide consistent protection in the event that there is any variation in the cycle.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
