When Should Clexane Injection Be Taken Before Flying?

Question: Hi just wondering if u Cld tell me how long before flight should I have my clexane injection . I've had Pe but this is my first time flying thank u . Just not sure process time to give it before after so on ! Flight is to Bali 5 and half hours

Hello,
Clexane (enoxaparin) goes to work quickly after an injection. You do need to give it a bit of time to be absorbed but 1-2 hours is fine. It lasts about 12 hours so you do not want to take it 12 hours before the flight because then it would be wearing off when you got on the flight.

Hi,
You need to ask your prescribing doctor how long you need to take the injections. They are usually given 12 hours apart. If you only need it for the flight then one should do but you really need to ask the prescriber this question.
