When Should Lovenox Be Resumed While On Ibuprofen?
Question: for the past 6 weeks i have not taken my lovenox and have been taking 1200 mg ibuprofen every 8-12 hrs. to
resolve a high degree of systemic inflammation. The inflammation is now resolved and i want to start back
on my lovenox. i last took ibuprofen 48 hrs ago. Can I resume my lovenox tonite?

ibuprofen is almost completely cleared off the body 24 hours after the last dose. If you've stopped it 48 hours earlier then you can start lovenox again, without the fear of bleeding complications.

It is most likely save that you can restart your Lovenox. I'm wondering why the Lovenox is prescribed for you. If you have had a history of blood clot's then it is important to tell your doctor that you have discontinued the Lovenox because he might want to assess to see if you develop any new blood clots while off the Lovenox.
again it is most likely safe tonight restart the Lovenox but I would not do so unless you discuss this with your primary care physician who previously prescribed Lovenox for you.
