When Will Bleeding Resume After Taking Misoprostol And Mifegest?
Question: Hi, I took 3 tabs of Mifegest 200 on Thursday and 2 tabs of Misoprost 200 on saturday, as advised by my doc. How long will it take for the bleeding to start? I had cramps after taking Misprost. Feeling tired too. But bleeding hasnt started yet.

As these combinations of medicines are used to terminate pregnancy.Bleeding and cramping may start within 20 minutes of taking misoprostol.Some time it may take hours to start cramps and bleeding.
Since these medicines act with complex mechanism ,which in turn causes anti gluco-corticoid and anti androgenic activity and also causes the reproductive organs to contract.Which may cause cramps and pain.
It may not be the right choice for every woman and usualy depends on your specific condition.In case after consulting the doctor and taking these medicines fail to complete the abortion then surgical procedure is followed after discussing with the treating doctor.
