Brief Answer:
you can eat any type but in moderation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

the issue of protein restriction for patients with renal failure seems to lean towards restriction rather than unlimited consumption of protein. Besides that the only thing to consider is not the choice between different types of protein sources but whether they're processed or not. Processed food is less healthy and may be detrimental for patients with advanced renal failure due to its phosphorus contents. Phosphorus levels may rise and drive calcium away from bones (and increase the parathyroid hormone as well). You can choose poultry and other types of meat, eggs, fish but also beans and other protein rich food (like nuts, etc). Many nephrologists recommend taking less than 10-15% of total caloric intake from proteins, to patients with chronic kidney disease.

I hope you find this information helpful!
Kind Regards!
