Question: Hi Doctor, Today morning when I bend in bathroom, a sharp pain came at my lower back. It is very severe and I am getting similar pain still if I stand or sit in some positions. I got same pain around 4 years back at night time while walking. I visited orthopedic doctor at that time, he tested and mentioned nothing wrong much and suggested some physical excercise. But at that time of visiting, I didn't have pain. So he couldn't understand what was the problem. He tested through x Ray and blooad test for TB. so now what test you can suggest me for this pain. and whom should I contact for better assistance. I am thinking it is something like facet problem.

Brief Answer:
As explained below

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

For on and off low back pain I would suggest pain relief medicines such as Tab. Etoricoxib. You can get physiotherapy done and do some back strengthening exercises. If the pain persists for more than 3 months, or pain is very severe which is affecting your daily activities and the pain is radiating it is best to meet an orthopedic spine specialist for a detailed examination and treatment.

I hope this answered your query.
