Brief Answer:
Pet ct scan
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Normal platelet count is between 150000 to 450000
If it is more than that as in your case then
it could be due to cancer of lung, gastrointestinal ovary cancer or lymphoma
Would advise you to do a Pet ct scan to see if there is any space occupying lesion in your body
Regards

The platelet count has been going up and down for over 17 years. That is why I sent the question. Wouldn’t a cancer have surfaced by now?
Brief Answer:
You do not have cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since it is going up and down from 17 years i do not think you have cancer
Sometimes it is natural for some people to have it
If you are not having any symptoms of weight loss, swollen lymph nodes or loss of hunger i do not think you have cancer
Regards
