Whom To Consult When Diagnosed With Chronic Lyme Disease And H-pylori Infection?
Question: I was bitten by Lymes some years ago and had short antibiotic treatment. No follow up. 5 years later, my new doc says I still have it. Also, just discovered I have antigen for h-pylori which I had had in 2013 and treated with Prevpac.
What kind of doctor can deal with both and recommended treatment?
My PCP promotes natural remedies wherever possible, which I like but am I being naive?

Brief Answer:
infectious disease specialist for the Lyme disease
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Unless your PCP is comfortable treating chronic Lyme disease then you probably will not find one doctor to treat both conditions..
The pos. H. Pylori can be treated by any physician and although I also prefer natural remedies, this needs to be treated with a Prevpac or something similar to get rid of the infection.
If you have chronic Lyme disease then you need to see an infectious disease specialist to treat this. This can be a persistent, debilitating and complicated condition to treat. There are no natural remedies to treat this condition.
I hope you get some relief soon,
