Why I Got Periods Again?
Question: I am 25 years old. I m married. but due to some reasons i dnt want to conceive right now. After having sex i got pregnant and i had taken MTP kit. I got my periods. But again after 1 week i got periods again. i wanted to know what is the matter and why i got periods again? Do help me.

Repeated bleeding post an MTP could be due to the expulsion of retained conception products. It is compulsory to check for retained products post-MTP by an ultrasonography scan. As the retained products can get infected leading to severe form of pelvic inflammatory disease which can be fatal sometimes.
If you haven't got an ultrasound scan done post MPT, I recommend you to get one asap to ascertain that everything is expelled out clean. In case if a bit is left in, procedure like Dilatation and curettage is a must to clean everything out.
