Why I Have All Body Itching And Redness And Hives Since 5 Days?

Question: I have all body itching and redness and hives since last 5 days. I also fainted 3 days back due to severe itching and fell down. All blood work is fine for kidney, liver and allergy blood works. I am on antihistamines but still not improving. No lotion or creams helping. Scared to try steroids due to side effects. So, what is the issue? Doctors are confused. I am also diabetic but well controlled. Thanks.

Normal blood work rules out major organ dysfunction, but some triggers may not show in routine tests.
Steroid short course can be tried under supervision.
