Why I Hear Some Cracking Sound In My Right Knee When I Bend?

Question: Hello Doctor

I hear some cracking sound in my right knee when bending, getting up, and walking. I can also feel it if i touch my knee and bend and open it. I want to understand what is it and how to solve it.

Most likely it is patello -femoral Osteoarthrosis .

Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have read your concerns , about the crackling sound in the knees and there is no pain.
In my opinion this kind of crackling sound on movement of knee or manual movement in the knee is caused by early Osteoarthritis knee in the form of irregularities in the under surface of patella .
This requires no specific treatment except exercises as you are going.
Assessment of the condition will require x rays of both knees AP/Lat view.

Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel.
This condition is beginning of Osteoarthritis and is related to age , usage and lifestyle. Normally it starts at the age of 25.
If you want to take supplements - please get the blood tests to ascertain if you have deficiency on any vitamin or calcium. There is no age related necessary intake of medicines as such.
