Question: I am a full time Police worker who suffers from severe sciatica, my sister in law gave me some palexia, which worked brilliantly, i only have to take 1 and it worked for 6 hours, how do i ask my doctor to prescribe me this as he only gave me sopaldol (30/500) and it only worked for 2 hours

For sciatica only taking pain killer will give temporary relief, you may need permanent treatment.
I will advise you to do MRI spine to see for severity of nerve root compression.
For these symptoms neurotropic like pregabalin medication can be started consulting your doctor for long term pain relief.
You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.

Ask your treating doctor to add or change medicine as you can’t take sopaldol every 2 hours considering side effects.
