Why After 4 Months Delivery My Wife Not Having Periods Regularly ?

Question: My wife delivered a baby 4 months back. She is breast feeding the baby regularly and has not got her periods too. Since last few weeks, she is getting recurring pain in her knees. It doesn't feel muscular. She is doing light stretching occasionally. But the pain is consistent and making it difficult to walk. Please advice.
Brief Answer:
Start Calcium supplements
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) Pain in knees could be commonly be due to low calcium levels after child birth.
2) She needs to take calcium supplements to reduce pain. Take the same calcium supplements taken during pregnancy.
3) If you dont find relief after one week of calcium tablets, you need to see a physician to rule out rheumatic arthitis which is a reason for joint pain.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards
