Brief Answer:
Possible causes explained and some recommendations given

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Dizziness and falling asleep can be caused by several conditions and all depends on how long have you had these symptoms and if you have other complaints other than these.

If the dizziness and falling asleep is for less than a week it can be caused by a very common viral infection and generally may take up to 7-10 days in total to improve. Resting, drinking plenty and being cautious to not change position quickly (not to stand up quickly) is important to prevent falls and related injuries. Any worsening in these 7-10 days you will need to go and see your doctor as soon as possible.

If the symptoms are there for longer time than 1-2 weeks then other more chronic conditions should be considered. In this case having a CBC and ERS to rule anemia can be advisable and also because you are having levothyroxine you might need to check TSH if you have not had a check the last 3 months. Other routine tests that can be done if these symptoms are longer than 1-2 weeks are liver tests (ALT, AST, Bilirubin), kidney tests (electrolytes and creatinine), fasting glucose, lipids, urinalysis, etc.

As you have mentioned in the medications you use you are taking blood pressure medications. You will need to have a visit with your doctor to have a blood pressure check when you are laying down and soon after you stand to rule out orthostatic hypotension.

If you have any fever or other symptoms like cough or neurological symptoms (weakness or numbness in one limb or more, difficulty swallowing or other similar neurological symptoms) this is a very important information to know as may help lead to the possible diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
