Why Am I Experiencing Itching On The Skin Area Around The Pubic Hair At The Base Of The Penis?
Question: I have experienced itching on the skin area around the pubic hairs at the base of the penis. I have noticed spotting on my underwear that I'm pretty sure is coming from the infected area, not the penis. I have attempted to treat with RID assuming it might have been lice or crabs, but nothing ever appears on the comb, so I guess it must be something else. This is not a constant itching distraction, but noticeable mostly at night with evidence of the underwear spotting mostly in the morning. There have been no incidences of sexual intercourse, but some very infrequent oral sex with another male. My email address is YYYY@YYYY .

I see no visible sign of skin rash, redness, or scaling around the affected area. I've tried to take pictures of that area along with a picture of the spotting on the undergarments, but I can't figure out how to upload the pictures into the 'Report Section'. I'm hoping I can paste right here.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Perhaps you have dryness of skin that is causing the skin to itch. I suggest you to use a moisturizer regularly. In addition to that you may use an OTC topical steroid e.g cortisone cream, twice daily on that area. I also suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg tab once every evening for symptomatic relief from itching

One picture was of the actual affected area of itching, and the second image was of the spotting that appears on my white underwear.
