Question: My age is 27, I don't have diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease and I am suffering from erectile dysfunction, low libido and numb penis for the past two years. I can barely get an erection, I don't feel my penis, stopped getting morning wood and when erection happens it is incomplete (only 30%) and my penis is not hard enough, immediately goes soft again. I am suffering from whole body numbness, tingling and needle, burning sensation chronic fatigue, reduced sensation of touch. I went to neurologist and done MRI nerve conduction test. However, results were normal. I tried cialis and viagra but it didn't work. I practiced 45 minutes exercise four days a week. I took high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and anti oxidants like. However, my ED is just getting worse. I have done hormone tests with below results:
Prolactin 22 ug/L
Testosterone 13.45 nmol/L

Brief Answer:
Get Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis done .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

I have gone through our threads of previous discussion on your issues of Erectile Dysfunction .

In view of the issue that you have been facing , though it is most likely to be Psychogenic in nature but not responding to drugs like Viagra or Cialis I would suggest you to get Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis done .This will help to establish or rule out Vasculogenic cause (Either Arterial insufficiency or Venous leak) as a cause for your problem of ED .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Marginal high levels of Prolactin in males has no significance .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

Prolactin is a hormone secreted by Pituitary gland in brain and is of importance in females when there is secretion of milk from breasts without pregnancy or when woman is not lactating .It is important in males only when one is getting investigated for cause of infertility in males .Marginal high levels are normal and one can have high levels if the blood sample for test is collected early in the morning .

Marginal High levels 21 ng in your case has no significance and has no relation to your problem of Erectile Dysfunction .
