Why Am I Having This Back Pain That Started Three Days Back?

default
Posted on Fri, 12 Jul 2024
Question: I have been having this back pain that started three days ago. It began at the centre of my back above my waist. I don't have the pain really when I sit up right, when I lie down and face the sky but I feel it most especially when I try to bend down.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. You require investigations

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I have gone through your query. So I suppose this pain is of short duration which aggrevates on bending down. I need to ask few details
1. Any history of lifting heavy weight.
2. Any history of trivial trauma(unnoticed).
3. Does the paim radiate to back of thigh?
4. Any history of accompanying fever.
In most of the cases, this pain is muscular in origin due to abnormal work ergonomics and should releive on assuming an upright posture and few days of analgesics. If it does not, then a spine disease may be evaluated by xray Or mri.
Hope you understand.
Feel free to ask further and revert.
Kind regards
