Why Am I Waking Up In A Confused State Of Mind With Breathing Difficulty Apart From Body, Chest And Leg Pain?

Question: Hello Doctor,
My age is 39.
Since nearly 7 month night time suddenly i am waking up with beathing problem. While waking up i will be in a confusion status and difficult to breath. Morning time always i feel pain in body, chest & leg.
My cousin he is studying MD he said to me its a sleep apnea. But, now since a month weekly at least for 2 days night time i am waking up with the same problem what i mentioned above.
I want to know what causes this. Because i never used to have this health problem before. What are the complications. I am bit afraid. And also constipation is there since at least 3 months. I feel bowel is not clearing properly at least 3 to 4 time i have to go to toilet.
Is there any treatment available for this?
Your advise is appreciable.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Obstructive sleep apnea
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Obstructive sleep apnea is loss of breath due to obstruction in the airway. Subsequently it can lead to complications like sleep disorders, heart problems etc.
You should get a sleep study or sonography done to diagnose it.
It can be managed by CPAP or surgery whatever is required.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Take care.
Thanks and regards
