Why Are Susten 300 And Progesterone Prescribed When Trying To Conceive?
Question: Hi,
I am 33 year old and trying to conceive from past 1 year. My cycle length is of 25 days , is it too short to have a mature egg during ovulation. During follicular montioring I have found that my follicles of size 18mm , 22 mm in RT and 19mm in LT got ruptured on 10th or 11th day of my cycle. What are chances of releasing mature egg by follicle of size 18,22 and 19?? My ET was 8mm.
My doctor has prescribed me Susten300 that needs to be inserted instead of taking orally. What is the use of taking progestrone , will it help in conception?

It is not true. Mature eggs do release early even if cycle is short. But you can extend follicular phase by using antagonist injections. Your treating doctor will know about those injections.
