Question: HI,
I face problem with my sweaty palms due to which i unable to shake hands with my colleagues and leaders. Even my laptop gets dirty looks odd. Kindly Suggest me with a solution.

- Take lukewarm/cold water bath. Avoid saunas and hot showers
- Avoid tight-fitting clothes
- Avoid caffeine and spicy foods
- Use antiperspirants on your palms.
- Use relaxation techniques such as meditation and deep breathing to control the stress that can trigger sweaty palms.

For temporary treatments, you can go to a dermatologist for Botox injections/ iontophoresis which can give you a relief for 3 to 6 months. Get your thyroid levels checked if it is a recent onset.

For severe hyperhidrosis, there is a surgical procedure known as endoscopic transthoracic sympathectomy. This surgery is the only way to stop hyperhidrosis permanently which is done only if it is affecting your daily activities.
