Why Can't I Comfortably Pronate My Left Forearm After Left Distal Bicep Repair?

Question: I am weeks post op for distal bicep repair (total tear) on my left arm. I began physical therapy last week and today completed my 2nd session. I am frustrated because I cannot comfortably pronate my left forarm. In fact, typing this was quite difficult. Can you tell me if this could be a permanent condition? I should note that I can more satisfactorily supinate. Distressed.......
Brief Answer:
Not permanent but would need significant exercise to bridge the gap.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Let me reassure you that the condition is not permanent but will require substantial efforts from your side to overcome the constraint that you currently have. The way out is through daily physical therapy and exercise.
Irrespective of whether the therapist does it each day of the week, you need to do the exercises on a daily basis until you can comfortably pronate.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards
