Minor issues
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You were suffering a major depressive episode and its good to hear that things have improved a lot. I will at first answer your questions and then make some suggestions. There after if you have any further query or clarifications you can get back to me:
1) Feeling blank in mind & not able to guess the facts from the body gestures of others are very common symptom of patients with
major depression. Please try to understand that depression causes lot of changes in the
neurotransmitter systems in brain and especially in the
frontal lobe and
parietal lobe. These changes are responsible for the above mentioned problems that you are having. However you would be glad to know that these are reversible and ones when you are fine and with time these problems will settle on their own. You may continueusing
brahmi as that may help you with the frontal lobe problems.
2) The problems with the hand movements that you are expressing are a manifestation of extra
pyramidal syndrome. This is a possible side-effect of aricep and the dose needs to be reduced or adding of
Trihexyphenidyl 2mg in the morning can help with the problem.
3) The medicines that you are taking now are good. Except that take paxidep in the night as it is sedating. Moreover do not increase it further as 50 mg should be sufficient and further improvement with an increase in dose may not be significant.
4) Y0u may continue to take aricep as it si a good drug.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
