Why Do I Feel Like Urinating Right In The Middle Of Sexual Intercourse?
Question: Hi, I am a 34 year old female 5’3 137lbs, and with in the last 3 months or so whenever my boyfriend and I are about to have sex and even during sex I have the urge to pee really bad, and when I do go to the bathroom sometimes I can pee in a few seconds and other times I am in the bathroom for a long time, I do Not have any pain when going pee and there is no pain if we actually get to have sex and no blood in my pee. I have been treated twice for a UTI and have finished all of the antibiotics and I am still having problems.. This had caused problems in our relationship now both in and out of the bedroom.

The most common cause of UTIs are bacteria from the bowel that live on the skin near the rectum or in the vagina, which can spread and enter the urinary tract through the urethra. Once these bacteria enter the urethra, they travel upward, causing infection in the bladder and sometimes other parts of the urinary tract.
Sexual intercourse is a common cause of urinary tract infections because the female anatomy can make women more prone to urinary tract infections.
You must get a urine culture done and then take the proper antibiotics in proper dose in consultation with your doctor. Other methods to be adopted are
Water helps flush your urinary tract, so make sure you drink plenty of plain water
Don't hold it when you need to urinate!
Your partner also needs a treatment if he has a urinary infection.
