Question : recently got over an upper respiratory virus and have noticed some pulsations near my ear occasionally, sometimes harder than others... do you know what this could be?
Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The pulsations in your ear could be related to an inner ear infection, probably related to the respiratory virus.
You should know that pulsations are related to inflammation and the increased blood flow in this region due to the inflammatory response.
For this reason, if you experience ear pain, loss of hearing or continuous pulsations or any other noise, I would recommend consulting with an ENT specialist for a physical exam.
