Why Do I Get A Mild Earache In My Right Ear When I Exert Pressure With My Right Hand?

Question: I get a mild earache in my right ear when I exert pressure with my right hand, something as easy as putting in a seat belt. No pressure on right hand, then no earache. And no problem with left hand, left ear. When I do nothing with my hand everything is normal and no pain in ear. Very strange. I have had this off and on for several years but for the past week it has been a little worse. Any thoughts? I guess I am wondering if I have some arthritis/nerve issues in my neck--and I have had some tingling in my right arm off and on as well, but no tingling now.
Brief Answer:
Examinations are needed to confirm the diagnosis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to sensory nerve issues.
Further examinations are needed to precisely confirm a diagnosis.
Some examinations that should be done are:
- A physical examination to check for body’s reflexes
- A complete blood count
- Glycemic level to check for diabetes
- Nerve conduction velocity test to detect abnormal nerve conditions.
- An electromyography
These examinations and investigations are needed to confirm the diagnosis and proceed with proper treatment.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.
