Why Do I Have A Small Cluster Of Painful Blisters On The Side Of My Body?
Question: I have a small cluster of painful blisters/rash on the side of my body...they started Monday as just red line as if my bra was too tight but now turned into red clusters
I don’t have any other symptoms. On a scale of 1-10 being painful, I would say 2-3. Only because my clothing rubbs against it

Brief Answer:
Herpes zoster possibly
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It seems to be herpes zoster which is a viral infection.
The possibility of this rash associated with tight bra seems unlikely.
The magnitude of pain is subjective as herpes zoster can be associated with mild to no pain in some individuals.
Hope to have answered your query. I would be happy to answer any further queries.

Ok thank you, I have had them in the past so does this mean that they can occur anywhere on the body and not the same location each time? Also am I able to get a prescription from this site?

Brief Answer:
Yes, it can occur at any location, take oral antiviral medicine
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes, it can occur at any location irrespective of its past site of occurrence.
If I were your treating doctor I would recommend you to take a course of oral antiviral medicines like tablet Valacyclovir 1 gram thrice daily for 7 days.
For pain, you can take tablet Ibuprofen twice daily.
Antivirals are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
All the best.
