Hi,

I have reviewed the attached image and your tongue looks normal. However, you state this is more towards the back which might not be visible on this shot. The fact that you can brush it off means it doesn't come from within and represents more of a stain from the outside. This may be fluid from the stomach if your GERD symptoms are pretty severe at this time accompanied with water brash. Else, I encourage you to brush twice daily as this doesn't represent any worrisome health issues at this time.
