Question: I have an unusually large blister as a result of freezing a large spot at the dermatologist's office on Monday. This blister is at least 3/8" high and 1/2" across, filled with liquid. It hurts when I bump it, feels better when I put a Band-Aid and ointment on it. It looks fragile. How should I treat it?

Brief Answer:
need to get the blister drained, apply a topical antibiotic

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is normal to have blister after freezing technique.

I will recommend you to get the blister drained and apply a topical antibiotic like Neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily till it resolves.

I hope to have answered your query. I would be happy to answer any further queries.
