Hi,

Once someone is on coumarin and he has any evidence of bleeding, it's advisable to stop the coumarin and talk to your doctor on urgent basis.

Coumarin is a drug that is supposed for thining of the blood. However, sometimes it can sometimes cause much thinning that may lead to bleeding.

Black stool here indicates there is some bleeding inside the gut as is indicated by the blood in urine..so please stop taking it and report to your doctor urgently.
