Why Do I Have Bouts Of Dizziness, Nausea And Forceful Vomiting While Having Acid Reflux For For Several Years?
Question: I have bouts of dizziness, nauseous and forceful vomiting. I have acid reflux for several years. Been to emergency over five year period and told it was reflux, constipation, bowel blockage. Last night I had a ctream soup, had normal bowel movement this morning, took Zantac and drank one cup of coffee. Became extremely dizzy, nauseous and vomited just gastric juices. I have bouts of light dizziness and nausea often. This has been going on for a few years. I have several pain when just before vomiting. I am 77 year old female, pretty healthy. I take losarton for blood pressure, lunesta tosleep, hydroxizine to cope with Alzheimer’s spouse and by-polar adult child that lives next door. I’ve been to emergency five ir six times for this.

As per your symptoms, the possibility of Gut obstruction is very high.
This requires an early endoscopic assessment of the bowel that is upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Further management if any is largely based on test reports.
