Why Do I Have Dry Itchy Rashes At The Back Of My Neck?
Different possible causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The most common reasons for dry, itchy rash would be (1)fungal rash (2) allergic local skin reaction
If the area has a circular appearance with slightly raised edges then it maybe fungal and using an anti fungal cream such as ketoconazole or miconazole or econazole may help. For the first 2 to 3 days a mild steroid cream can be added.
It can take 2 to 3 weeks for a fungal rash to improve
If the rash is a local allergic skin reaction then treatment would be with a steroid cream such as hydrocortisone. This is one of the weaker steroids so if it is not effective then your doctor may need to prescribe a different one
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
