Why Do I Have Serious Back Pain All The Time Especially When I Sit?

default
Posted on Mon, 25 Jul 2022
Question: I've serious backpain all the time especially when I sit for few minutes. I can start feeling pain. I cannot bend normally - in the mornings I have really bad pain. I do have pain in my upper, mid and lower back and when I sit for long I do have pain in my butt. I've tried PT found no result. I did visit a chiropractor who said my backbone isn't straight, its bending towards right.

I did visit another specialist and considered for MRI. I've uploaded MRI results. I do not remember of any accident or injury on my back.

X-ray was also done 2nd time, it was normal. I don't know why did the chiropractor say my Backbone isn't allied correctly.

Brief Answer:
Can be back spasm related to posture.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your MRI scan is almost normal. There are mild degenerative changes at L5-S1 but there is no abnormality in the spine.
You are suffering from what we call the industrial back ache. The first step is to ensure that you maintain an appropriate posture while working on the computer. Take frequent stretch breaks and drink lots of water. Discontinue using pillow while sleeping straight. Do not lift heavy objects, especially after bending down. Eat a healthy wholesome meal which should satisfy your minerals and proteins requirement.

The most essential and long lasting remedy is exercises. There are certain back strengthening and isometric exercises that you must learn from a physiotherapist and perform them at home or work whenever possible. You can also undergo a weeks session of traction at your physiotherapist's clinic.

Last but not least, if its unbearable take medications or muscle relaxant prescribed by your physician.
I hope this answers your query.
