Why Do I Have Swallowing Difficulty, Sore Glands In The Neck And Diarrhea
Question: The difficult swallowing and sore neck glands started 3 days ago. The diarrhea started yesterday. I took Immodium yesterday and today.

If you're having too many bowel movements then your hydration status should be assessed. Checking your urine color is a practical way to go about it. Dense urine (dark yellow or even orange) usually means dehydration and more fluids have to be consumed. Clear urine (light yellow or watery) usually denotes adequate hydration.
Worrisome signs or symptoms include the following:
- Blood in the stool
- Too many bowel movements (more than 5-6 per day)

- Abdominal pain that's not relieved after the bowel movement
