You can take acetaminophen for pain. Use gargling with lemon water to reduce inflammation. Use a throat spry to disinfect it.

Let me know if I can assist you.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I think this throat heaviness may be caused because of allergies. I think taking antihistamines may help with heaviness. Also gargling salted water may help reduce inflammation and remove allergens and mucus.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
