Why Do I Have Upper Back Pain And Occasional Chest Pain?
Question: I have upper back pain and occasional chest pains. This kind of affects my breathing at times especially when i workout or go for a walk. I have had this on and off earlier but this time it seems to stick on. I have problem completing my workouts. I have a desk job and have history of poor posture, history of a bit anxiety.
Brief Answer:
Consider evaluation...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Most likely the back pain and chest pain could be related to poor ergonomics and stress. However other possibilities can be ruled only through physical examination and evaluation. If you are able to climb flight of stairs with the chest pain, it is unlikely to be related to cardiac ailment. However ECG and other test is necessary before we can completely rule that out.
In this context, I will recommend you to visit a doctor who can examine you. He/she can order for test that include hemogram, ECG and nutritional parameters. Further management will be based on test results.
Hope I am clear. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Essentially normal...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This ECG seems to be essentially normal. But ECG alone doesn't rule out the conditions I listed above. You need to be physically examined by a cardiologist who can check other parameters. If deemed necessary a TMT / Stress test where ECG is performed during physical activity is performed.
Hope I am clear. Do you have any questions.
