Question: Why does bladder ache and have urgency only during the day? At night when I sleep I don%E2%80%99t feel any pain or urgency but as soon as I get up in about 1-2 hrs into my day I start feel bladder discomfort urgency and burning. i dont have a urinary tract infection, i tested my urine, i dont have bleeding and i dont take medications.

Based on the facts that you have posted urgency and frequency for urination specifically during day time that you have is most likely to be due to either anxiety or what is called as Over Active Badder syndrome (OAB)

In absence of any alarming symptoms like burning ,pain during micturition and nocturnal frequency there is nothing to be worried about .

Taking Darifenacin once daily in the morning would help to reduce urgency .

If you have any stress factor that should be taken care of by consulting a qualified Psychiatrist and counselling .
