Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history well and understood the concerns.
Since you have ITP it is very much possible that there is formation of micro or large hematoma in the left side of the back as the pain is burning type.
Another cause can be nerve entrapment or muscle spasm/inflammation.
This can be diagnosed by the following way: Please discuss with your treating Doctors.
Get blood tested to see for any ITP related problems.
Local ultrasonography of the affected area of back as well as that of abdomen (for stones) will help to know the exact condition that is causing pain.
In some cases an MRI may be necessary to see for nerve entrapment and hematoma formation or edema of muscles, changes of osteoarthritis in the inter-vertebral joints.

Rest is of primary importance in cases of problems related to muscle spasm.
Continue anti-inflammatory and painkillers to break the cycle of pain > spasm > pain > spasm.
Warm fomentation can help better.
Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant - continue.
Tylenol may not helps as much as Naproxen.
Have regular reviews with your Doctors for correction of treatment.

I hope this answer helps you.

Thank you for your help. This eases my mind. I do have my annual physical with my primary on 7/26/18 . I also have a referral from urgent care to a specialist on 6/22/18 for my lumbar problems. Said they may try injections, or labs, or X-ray,mri. Should I wait for these appointments if my pain is worsening

Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your appreciation.
Good that you have further appointments albeit a bit late.
If the problem worsens then it is better not to wait.
Please insist for investigations as mentioned above.
Take rest, avoid any movements that worsens the pain.
If possible get investigated if ITP is causing any problems.

Take care.
With Regards.

Good morning, with itp,is to much platelets a problem, and is bad diet habits like to much sugar a problem to aces and pain in the muscles and kidney or liver areas

With tip is it possible to have a high amount of platelets, and having no spleen as of 1983 causing maybe issues with my kidneys hurting. Also I was told to take vitamins like vitamin d , and calcium. Just trying to solve my pain issues without more medicine of any sort

Highly specialized field - please consult your Doctors/Hematologist.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback queries.
I can understand the varied symptoms, sequel and complications one can go with ITP, Splenectomy and reactive raised platelet counts.
The signs and symptoms vary from time to time hence we/you can not judge what will happen when and whether the present symptoms to be related to these thins under consideration.
Your Hematologist alone should be consulted and you should discuss with him to have clinical evaluation, clinico-pathological correlation and further proper management.
Please follow strictly the advise of your Doctors and Hematologist.
