Why Does Yellow Gooey Stuff Comes After Snorting The Smoke Through My Nose?
May be a sign of a chronic sinus infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It may help to be able to see a picture of the yellow stuff that you are throwing up, but typically thick, yellow discharge would be a sign of an infection. The most likely infection from the situation that you described would be I believe from the sinuses, which can often develop chronic infections. Especially if you have other symptoms of a sinus infection, such as facial pressure, loss of sense of smell, and/or nasal congestion, this would make a sinus infection more likely. If you don't have any other symptoms of an infection and this is not really bothering you, I wouldn't say that you necessarily need to do anything about it or get tested, but if you do have any other symptoms, typically we would consider a CT scan of the sinuses to evaluate for infection, and you may need a referral to an ENT doctor for cultures and other evaluation.
I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions about that, and I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
Thanks.
