Why Even When Appetite Remains Good And Motions Are Also Normal But Gastric Remains?
Question: I suffer from rihntis allergy which got aggravated and was prescribed with medication such as Billargic/Billastine along with Brozedx syrup, cepodem, pulmoclear ( 5 to 7 days). I had bad stomach ( loose stools for a couple of days for which i took CNCM I-745 and it go all right).
After this course of meds, I have been asked to continue with Billargic which my body is used ( I have been taking it in the past too) but my doctor also asked to take Sampraz 40 for 5 days empty stomach in case, there is any acid reflux causing excess of post-nasal drip of mucus though I was not feeling any acid reflux till then.
So I took sampraz 40, in the morning empty stomach and since then I have been feeling gaseous throughout the day. My appetite remains good and motions are also normal but gastric remains and troubling me a lot. I have never had gas problem in the past also for more than a few hours that too very rare.
Please advise what should I do

See any medication when enters into our system depletes the good bacteria of gut.
Depletion of good bacteria causes improper digestion of good leading to fermentation of food which release large amount of gases.
I would suggest you to keep taking a probiotic like VSL#3 two times a day for 2 weeks after finishing all medicines.
VSL#3 would replete good bacteria of gut.
