Question: Hi Doctor,
I am having pain in my lower abdomen on the Left side pain along with that i am having gas i was fasting due to navratra for last 7 days with one time meal. The pain increases when I move or am in a certain sitting position. Please suggest ?

Hello,
How bad is the pain?
It seems to be related to under-eating and resulting constipation. You may drink lots of water and juices to get relief. Eating lots of fruits will also help. You may take Lactulose syrup 1 spoon before sleeping for 2 days to relieve symptoms.
Since it started recently, an ultrasound whole abdomen may be needed to find exact diagnosis. Seeing a surgeon will also help to rule out any surgical issues.
