Brief Answer:
Salty taste in mouth and tongue inflammation remedies.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

A white tongue may be as a result of smoking, drinking alcohol or poor oral hygiene. White lines or bumps may be an inflammation called oral lichen planus. This happens due to an abnormal immune response that may occur from an underlying condition, such as hepatitis C or allergies.
Your doctor will examine your tongue to put diagnosis.
You should be checked for hepatitis C and total blood count.
The change in texture and inflammation causes the salty taste
Treatment of underlying cause can resolve it.
You can help with some tips
*rinse mouth with mouth disinfectant
*try to avoid salty and spicy food
*eat well chewed food
*keep hydrated
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
