Why Have I Been Waking Up With Unbearable Cluster Headaches And Numbness From Right Elbow To Fingers?
Question: I have been waking up with unbearable cluster headaches. Last night I specially slept on my back. Upon awakening ~ NO headache~ ! However, my right arm was completely numb from the elbow to my fingertips. Only on top - the underneath did have feeling. Thumb & wrist completely without feeling. Wrist & fingers were were unable to perform any normal functions or movements. I now have pain in right shoulder & spasms at base of neck, which are continually increasing in severity of pain. Have been referred to neurologist to confirm diagnosis, in 3 weeks. Is there anything I can do at home to improve movement as well as making pain bearable? Allergy to ibuprofen & not able to tolerate NSAIDS. HELP !!
