Why Is My HPT Positive While All Other Tests Are Negative?

Question: Well, I have a question about pregnancy. I have not had an actual period since March 2011. I know that I am pregnant but I have had a few doctors tell me that I wasn't ad some tell me that I was. I was in the military and I was made to get inside a gas chamber while I was pregnant. i have had ultrasounds done but I was never given my ultrasound pics. They just got inside my records by accident. I have also been requesting records which is a violation of HIPAA. I personally know that I am pregnant the prgnancy has been going on for 5 years now, I am really worried about my health can you please assist me. I am definitely looking at contacting JACHO and some other health care organizations. I am a registered nurse and I have a degree in Healthcare Management. I keep being told my HCG, Human gonadotropin Hormone is not present but I know that this is not true and even if it is low or not present then it is just because the pregnancy is abnormal it does not ean that I am not present The pregnancy has to have certain hormones in order to sustain the pregnancy like progesterone, estrogen, (FSH) follicle stimulating hormones, and oxytocin to aid in helping the uterus to contract. I have had a child before and I have one full term pregnancy and I had one abortion. I am still currently pregnant with this abnormal pregnancy I need a doctor to provide treatment and help me with this issue. I need another ultrasound to be done and for the pictures to provided on the spot to me. Also, I have never had any issues getting pregnant or any other issues. I have had natural birth, no c-sections.

UPT or beta HCG needs to be positive. Get another USG and upload reports

i would like to know,about few things.

What was your last date of periods?
Is your urine pregnancy test positive or blood beta HCG test shows positive results for pregnancy?

You can continue taking prenatal vitamins.

Please get ultrasound test done and ask for the printed reports, if can upload those reports it will be of help to offer you proper advice.

Hello Dr. XXXXXXX Neurogonkar,

I told you that my last menstrual period was March 10, 2011. I have done my own pregnancy tests and they come out positive but when I go to the doctor the tests come out negative. However, it does not mean that I am not pregnant. As I previously stated, I have had ultrasounds done but the physicians do not give the results to me. Or the results will say something that I know is definitely not true.

I guess I will have to contact JACHO because otherwise I don't know how I am going to get assistance.

As per your history , urine pregnancy test is positive when you have done it on your own.
As your last menses were quite long back, you need to confirm gestational age and viability of pregnancy.
Please seek proper treatment support , only USG with reports will let you know about the condition of the pregnancy.
