Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I see that you mention only pain and no discharge or fever. This could probably be due to recent cold infection or a ear blockage due to wax. I would recommend otogesic ear drops twice a day for 3 days to relieve the pain along with it you can take a paracetamol tablet to relieve the pain. In case symptoms persist or any history of ear discharge kindly get an ENT opinion.
